Hello all. I took a look yesterday, and we are stumped in terms of the guitar program, I have to look into it more too see if there is a fix to it. The program is called guitar vision. The problem is that he has music files he purchased and they will not play. It has somthing to do with accounts. The program requires a registration to work and i registered it under a different name as its usual login credentials are not being excepted because it says you have reached the registration limit for that username which it only has been installed on that and one other pc (the limit is two) so they count as two and for the first and second pcs the hardware never changed but it thinks the limit has been reached somehow. Other than that they just want fax set up, i beleive a router firewall is on therefore some functions of the im program do not work and the wifi was incorrectly installed on WEP security when it should be WPA. I plan on fixing that, turning off the router firewall if on and or forwarding ports if necessary, setting up fax (i found the program used in our old desktop for faxing and figure i can configure that for their pc),fixing security, and repairs to guitar vision.

Good Morning Everyone

Got the coffee, tea and chocolate made.

So get your hot now SC. I will pass on that cake.

Hi Lu Hope your doing well.

I hate programs that install that way tech. Then you don't know if it senting out something to check either.
Long ago I had a really cool bookmark program and got a user name and code for it so I could use it with out buying it. Program was good and all worked but when you got online it knew because that user name was taken.

Hey harry yes the program was annoying. We finally fixed when its tech support gave us another registration to the account which fixed everything immediately. After that i attempted to tackle the router but the other guy changed somthing and now we are locked out of it. Hopefully somtime today we are going to contact him and see what the login credentials are and change the settings quickly to allow the connections with aim and set wifi. Then later i need some help with dad as the fax is giving me a strange error stating that there is no dial tone in the modem. Then my dad's software does not detect the modem right as it says hardware detected but not recognized. I am now wondering if the modem itself may be no good. If that is the case they are very cheap to replace. Today i will get the password or get that router reset which my attempts last evening all failed somehow. I also have a UPS job application to fill out as they called me last night for setting up a tour of the facility. HAGO
