Good day everyone

Your welcome YM

Well technically, it is not mine but i have a strong feeling that i am getting the car. And my dad took care of it so it is in good running condition (he has auto mechanic skills so things stay good in it and he knows when it is time to do things.). Like i said even though its current stereo is simple, it sounds nice so i may not touch it or the most may be a new radio. I may not even touch the speakers and the only reason for the radio is for mp3 player connectivity. And i may not even do that much because most people say they will take the car stuff out and put the old stuff in but if i find a deal on a new car one day im not thinking about that sound system i have in the car. And what if i do take out the system and the next car already has a system in it? Then i have an extra stereo i do not need. So there are drawbacks.

Hey ntg, do you help your dad with the upkeep of the cars? It will pay-off in the long run to do that. I didn't have my sons help as much as I shoukd have (although by 10 years old they could change a flat and check/add oil, brake fluid/tranny fluid).

Good luck with your car

That is good to hear about your dad auto mechanic skills. Don't know just what all he does or can do know days without the added tools you never needed 20 or 30 years ago before all the junk and computers got put into them. My dad has auto mechanic skills also but it got to were you need to many new types of tools and is harder to things the way you did then for 40 years that he just takes it into the shop now. But still your dad's auto mechanic skills will help out a lot and he will know if he can't do it to take it into the shop.
Have fun driving you new car and drive safe.
