how on earth did you manage to pull that one out?
Out of ALL the music friends I have (and having written the occasional piece on music, culture, or music and culture), I can count on the fingers of one hand the number that could tie those three together.
So this is obviously some huge cosmic hiccough and will be righted by the Cub's winning the World Series, or you have some rather serious 'splainin to do, young Master CADude.

#2105 | yeah, I got the blinking one around here somewhere.....there were some issues with some gif files not rendering correctly, I think, and I switched it back. Now that the problem is fixed, I should probably track that one down, eh? | | Distinguished Member with 6,136 posts. | | Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: In a void... Experience: Intermediate |

Blinking or no, it's still not something you really want to look at--especially not first thing in the morning. However, I'd say that the blinking one would probably more "cool".....I guess?
Random thought: Well, it's really not so random now. If I come here to post it, and label it as a "random thought", is it still random? Or is it a subconscious excuse to post in this thread? I need some caffeine. And a sledgehammer. And some money to replace the object the aforementioned sledgehammer needs to bash into teensy-weensy pieces. And then, I'll need a stiff drink. Followed by......well, I don't think you need to hear any more.

I may pass for 'rugged', but it would be more in the classical sense of a 1942 Ford with terminal cancer of the rocker arms and enough rust on the frame that you can see the road passing under your feet..
But thank you for the compliment anyhow, becca.
and I'm glad that we have another convert to red meat.

#2115 | I have always suspected it was a "sort of" self-likeness. Seeing as Valis probably comes from the acronym for "Vast Intelligent Living System", referring to the novel of the same name by Philip K. Dick, I'm suspecting the avatar is not directly related to the name. And from Red Meat, obviously, Texas is involved, in some small way, from the longhorn skull on the chain around the neck of this zombie character. This is not visible in the avatar.
All of which means absolutely nothing. | |
