dropping 15 cartons of eggs is much harder to clean up than dropping just one carton

Bats are good and they eat a ton of mosquitoes. I don't wing stones at them anymore.

Random Thought de jour.... Hannab the MM were in hiding again but I did post some other pics in my thread. Kinda cute I would say....

Nielsen used to get people to take one of their special boxes and hook it up to the tv. It recorded every tidbit of info as to the viewers habits. Then they downloaded it somehow and had their computers chew the info over and spit out the results. If your tv is off and you are not participating with the rating co's they have no way to track anything. Matter of fact they get no info from you without your cooperation.

I haven't read this but if you're interested heres a link...

Why do you do this, Fergus?

You can create a thread for your meanderings....

He obviously had a random thought. I figure this is the correct thread even if his thoughts are weird.

... Mrs. Guyzer doesn't really care and would live under a rock if I ever decided to move back to one. Anywhoooo, my sister has this work for rent deal for this rich farmer. He supplies her a very nice mobile home and she puts in about an hour a day. Said farmers rich retired parents live on the next farm ( not active farm ) and they travel extensively throughout the year. Their farm is gated ( has remotes to enter ) , long paved meandering tree covered driveway that splits off to the right or left. ( I'm trying to paint you a pic... how'm I doin'? ) If I turn right I go to their house which wouldn't be a good thing. So I don't upset Mrs. Guyzer I'll hang a left and go up the hill. They have a trailer ( yes we gonna be trailer trash... but it's a nice trailer ) that is nestled in the forest, and I mean forest, that through the farmers son was offered to us. Seems the old folks want the place to look lived in when they travel. They also want someone to collect the newspapers, look after the dog, mow the lawn with a big tractor ( I can do all that ) and said son doesn't have time for it anymore so he offered us the joint. Our rent is coming down 400 clams a month and whatever work we ( ha.. it will be me ) do will be subtracted and I can use the surplus to buy more camera gear ... or maybe even take a course. I took about a month thinking about it because I was also looking to change careers ( more on that later ) and was working feverishly on that aspect of my life. Ain't fun at 54 years old . Anyway, we have agreed to give it a one year trial and if it works out we'll unpack our stuff and stay. If it doesn't I'll be looking for a nice rock for me and the Mrs. to hide under. We move on the 28th.

( grab second cup of coffee )
I was sick of dealing with idiots, know-it-alls and just general miserable people but didn't know what I wanted to do. I knew I didn't want to climb back into a truck and travel North America again nor did I want to get back into the collection / bailiff business and I sure as hell didn't want to cater / bow down to the buying public again. I thought about it for a year or so and decided I wanted to work with my lily white non-broken nail hands. I did some investigation work on a few companies and decided on two to focus in on. I thought my modeling and woodworking skills might assist so I embelished my resume and faxed it off to both of them. The one that was highest on my list called me about 1 1/2 hrs. later and we had a nice chat.. set an interview time and the rest is history. I started my new job three weeks ago working in a cabinet shop that custom builds stuff for really rich Americans . I work mainly with routers, planers and very expensive wood and I'm loving it. I never built cabinets before and thought what the heck cuz all they are is a box with a door, don't argue, don't swear and are always submissive. Besides it being a great little company to work for they offered me my choice of shifts and a fantastic benefit package. I took the 3:30pm - 2am shift.... work 4 x 10 hrs. and get 3 days off... long weekends I get 4. I get a guaranteed 2 weeks a year off and two more as an option if I choose to take them. YeHaaaaa

You made a comment about pictures and pointed people to a certain thread. Well I got out of the shower about 2:30 this morning and read the thread as tired as I was... clicked the link and was actually surprised to see my thread. Your comments are very nice and I thank you for them. I gotta agree though, there are a few really nice ones there. The first one is my fav and I have that all blowed up in a frame hanging on my wall, the rest are ok and are a learning experience. Did you like my cloud picture ? It wasn't as nice as Bucks but was still ok. I'm driving past the MM area today and hope the boys are there today but first I gotta get a few more zzzzzzz's.
Hi Guyzer
decided to quote the whole long story

I get the picture and it sounds as if you had some blessings come your way - a new abode away from the bad city and cheaper - a great job - away from bad people and nicer and a wife who doesn't give you any guff.... I don't know which is the best one

....yes I do, the wonderful wife it sounds like she even has me beat and I'm a pretty great wife if I do have to say so myself

Your new job sounds great - I always admire/envy craftsmen - I just think it is such a postive job making beautiful things - I can't even cut a straight line. Oh well, post some pictures of what you're making.

I'm going to check out your picture thread now. Cheers

If I remember correctly the no-guff-giving wife is on the top or so she said.
