Why do all the crappy things get sprung on you at once? Why can't we spread the crappiness out?

Wait till you get older. Not only does crappy things happen to you but to your kids (might as well had happened to you, cause it affects you just the same) .......................................

But then there's the good things that happen: a well timed thank you, a kiss on the cheek that says I love you, a childs' mother's day card, etc.......

Hope your night goes better FG

Katonca, you always know just what to say...I wish my hubby had that talent.

Yeah, there's always some good that comes of the bad, but it seems like lately there's been a heck of a lot more bad than good. Although, something REALLY good should be coming soon to offset all the bad!! *taps foot impatiently*

It is funny how that happens huh? For me it's EVERYTHING at once when it happens. I'm serious... from bad day at work to bad night of school to lots of homework for my son to an irritated wife because I'm irritated...right down to running out of toothpaste...and a sick dog-

Haven't had one like that in a while, but I can tell you...something good will happen soon

It might be funny later, but definitely NOT funny at the time!! Seriously though, I know what you mean....although I think I would use the word "amazing" instead of "funny"... Yeah, I know, I'm a pistol *insert "carried by a lunatic" here*

I'd like to make a comment about the crappy struggles that I've endured (this isn't directed at FG or Chris, because the crappiness you experience is something you have to deal with it and could be worse than mine).

As I was maturing with young children there were always the normal difficulties popping up. Some huge others not, but as Chris said, they always came in groups. A lot of times I wouldn't leave go of the situation which had been resolved (pondering, going through it again and again in my mind). This wasn't healthy, especially when there were other probs that needed my attention.

Now, when these hurtles arise I'm either more seasoned or more appreciative of the good times that actually out weigh the crappy times 10-1. My reaction to the difficulties is more reserved. I think maybe I wasn't grateful enough of the blessings I had been given or just was to preoccupied with the crap.

Hang in there young parents

I haven't been clean shaven in the past 5 years. I'm trying not to sound vain, but it actually does look good on me. I shaved once for someone and she really disliked it, saying the dark reds in my beard really accented my face.
