Red face OMG House Of Horrrs OMG + computers
I saw the story of computer today in the TV.

I’m shocked that man gain some money through the story.

All this started because nurse's computer has a problem so he decide to call the "wrong man"

The man came to have looked at her computer and told her he was unsure what has happened so he decides to borrow her PC.

The man updated Power Supply, Graphic card and RAM. and told her it need to tweak with update and left her with £350 of charge on her computer. The computer man told her that she got no graphic card on her computer but she got it earlier.....

Next day, Presenter "House of horrors" came to house and have look at nurse's computer to see what the man changed and they realized
  • Power Supply - Changed Expensive one to cheaper one, but the old fan was working well
  • Graphic Card - The man removed graphic card then insert cheaper one, He tells nurse she got no Graphic card
  • RAM - The man removed some RAM

The presenter say the computer man takes her thing about £200 from her computer parts inside, PLUS THE man charged nurse about £350 so that £550 altogether

The presenter wants to meet that man again so they set up a "fake problem" and guess what? the man visited and the presenter pops up and the computer man realized they just a set up so the man covered his face and heading to exit, The presenter asking him why HIM takes some computer parts without people knows? Why that MAN charges expensive? But the man does not answer the entire question.

Finally The man reached the car and got annoyed from the presenter and he did drove.... FAST and accidentally hit the corner and it damages the car bumper in the front and presenter say do you want your car part back? He said yes and drove away..

Anyway im happy about ending because the man had to pay his profit to repair his car in front LMAO

English isn't your first language, is it? Here's some advice. Turn off the computer and learn to communicate in real life.

That is uncalled for

You have until 6pm UK time today to make an apology in public in this thread to CrazyComputerMan for what was obviously intended to be a racist attack otherwise the temporary 48 hour ban I am going to apply then will be a permanent one

I am giving this chance to apologize before banning you

We will NOT put up with such behaviour here at TSG

For those not in UK there has been a series on TV about rogue traders

They have previously concentrated on plumbers/builders & car mechanics etc

Now with so many people using computers the cowboys & crooks pick on the unwary computer user so this program will be showing some of them in this series

Not just in UK Donna

it is a worldwide problem & I have come across them in every country I have ever worked or lived in which is most of Europe and I have seen a similar series on US TV via the satellite so they get them there as well

I watched it as well . but didnt have time to comment ...
I cant believe that people still get "ripped" off by these crooks

I took my last pc down the local pc repair shop as it kept beeping at me .... the tech support said the processor had gone .
He said he had a pentium 2 to replace it but it didnt end there .

It was then the power supply then the motherboard and then fans needed replacing .and every week it was something different

I told him to keep it for scrap

...... i didnt pay for the repairs which were mounting up .. it was 7 years old and not worth it ...

I later found out from a lad who worked in the shop that the man had plugged the wrong power supply in and blew it up .. thats why so much needed doing
