Knowledge growth since joining TSG
I was just looking at my first few posts (~6 years 2 months ago).. And hot damn, if I wasnt the biggest "noob" i've ever seen in my life..

Not to mention the way I talked - I'd annoy the **** outta myself!

"ok, I have this like 4 year old gateway and all of the suden the hard drive wont work anymore.. I tried fixing it but i couldnt. So i went out and got a new hard drive today. When I try to format it to install windows, it says "Invalid Drive Specification" and "Error Creating File", or something like that.. what do I do to fix that problem?"

i guess i shouldnt be so hard on a 15 year old though..

how far have you come?

I've learned what an avatar is, and loads of security measures.

How'd you go back that far to your first posts in 2001? A few years ago Mike did some upgrade and lost a few years of posts if I remember correctly...I can't go back to 2002 and my first posts...just curious how you did! I'd love to see my first post again...I know it was about my computer having shut down problems and Davey solved the problem for me!

I've learned quite a bit here from TSG...i was totally new to the pc in 2001...but WinME gave me no problems until 2002!

Hmm, i tried doing to you what i did for me.. and I get cut off at 1000 posts (~2003).. so maybe thats what the upgrade did...

but since I only have an amazing 350 posts... I get to keep em all! :]

I've learned so much, though, that I dont even have to touch a computer to fix it.. i just stare at it passionately and it stops screwing around...

You can see your first 1,000 posts Marlene if you do a search for your user name and choose "in ascending order" and show as posts.
