NFL (Actual Football) 2007 Thread
I guess it's up to me to get it going this year.

I'm pretty pumped about my Panthers this year. I think this is going to be a good one.

Watching the Indy / Dallas pre-season game tonight, two things came to mind:

(1) After Dallas' first drive, they scare me.
(2) After the second drive Marion Barber should have to write 100 times: I will not run a four-yard route on 3rd and 8.

I really like the Cowboys' chances this year.

If for no other reason than the parity. It means that strong teams are contenders every year.

I think the Panthers are going to do very well this year as well. They have been seriously underachieving, a lot like the Cowboys.

IMO the two teams could even supplant Philadelphia, New Orleans, Chicago, or Seattle as being among the dominant teams in the NFC.

And over the last two years, Dallas has been the AFC Killer.

I'll stick with the Seahawks. They look pretty healthy so far. And I do agree that Dallas looks like they finally have the personnel to go a long ways.

With Mike Holmgren around it's hard not to be competitive! He's just one of those coaches that will inevitably develop a team and make it a contender, ala Bill Parcells.

I'm with ya here code I just hope that David Carr is our starting Quarterback this season. I think he is much better overall than Jake.
