Gabriel ~

You did a very nice job on the painting! When I was younger, I loved to do colorful sunsets/sunrises in the backgrounds while the trees of various shapes/sizes in black were the focus of the pictures. Sure wish I had kept them. Maybe when I retire years from now, I'll find the time and energy to take it up again!

Thats beautiful, Gabriel. The detailing on the white birch is awesome! I love the faded look in the foreground and the way you used the stronger color as you look "deeper" into the picture....i'm no expert so I dont know if that makes sense or not. All I know is that its really interesting to look at.

It just stunning Gabriel!! I love your composition and balance.. I can't believe that it is your first.. But you are extremely creative with your leather work and everything else I've seen .. so that's no surprise I love it!!

OK...Just talk......some of my closest friends are getting on my nerves. Does anyone ever have to unyoke their friendships for a while?

As an aside, some of my closest friends from years ago are no longer my closest friends now.

But I keep pretty busy anyway...

Tonight, on "Men in Trees" the Anne Heche character, when approached about getting back together with her old flame, upon reflection said, "I'm not ready, I need time and space."
