Looking good Mike. I may have to take a drive down to see how this one turns out when we do our christmas light drive this year.

Be sure that you do! Let me know when you're coming and maybe we can get some hot chocolate.

Heather got the two 10' twinkle trees built yesterday and we put around 25 lit candy canes into the ground last night. My dad came back up to help us tonight and we put an inflatable Santa on the porch roof and built the snow flake pyramid. We're going out of town for Thanksgiving, but I'll put up some photos (and hopefully a video) soon -- hopefully on Sunday night!

While my mom and dad were here tonight, we did a test run with a handful of songs. We ended up with five neighbors standing across the street with us. All good feedback so far. I hope it stays that way!

How is the sound heard Mike? It says at there site it was broadcast over radio.
See the Technical pages and see how much work they had.

I don't think our 13,000 lights will touch their 70,000... but it's only our first year! (I don't think my neighbors would appreciate that!)

We already have our FM transmitter up and running on 106.5 FM. Check out our page for some details: http://www.mikeandheather.net/lights/

that is so awesome. Man, when you said you were having a light show, you really meant that you were having a light show! I've got to go downstate to Syracuse on Dec 18th...I wonder what it would take to get the hubby to take me just a little bit further so i can see the lights!

lol, i'm sure it would take an act of God to get to go him that far out of our way, though.

Cant wait to see more pics and a video of it!

Wow! I'm really impressed and can't wait to see (and listen to) the finished display.

You guys are brave. There's no way you'd get me up in that lift thingy.

Act of God might be right -- Google says we're a short 5 hour drive from Syracuse. We're actually very south Pennsylvania -- almost to the Maryland border. I think you'll have to enjoy it via the Internet this year!

Heather and I are off to our two Thanksgiving dinners. Have a great day!

The lift was super easy! There's no way I could have done it with ladders!

An 18 hour round trip with 2 scrapping pre-teens and a terrible twos toddler? I'd have to break my "no getting drunk" rule to pull off a trip like that! We will all enjoy the show from the comfort of our own living room instead, lol!
