it took me a while to find generosity in my heart, for reasons that made sense to me....not like they were so profoundly different from anyone else's....or that my parents were somehow negligent in their modeling

for me, i think it had to do with feeling like i "fit in" someplace.

I can't keep doing this every holiday. Maybe I can find a place where I can put my skills to work soon and take care of Thor propery. This new apartment is not working out to well. To small and the bathrooms upstairs. I allready have ripped the banister off and busted the towel rack trying to hold myself up. Locked myself out at 3 am the other night also and was told no charge till the guy got here and now I'm told 30 bucks.

I'm really hoping things turn around quick as I'm at my wits end.

Lets hope next year is a better one amd I can meet a nice Christian girl so I don't have to be alone all the time ..

I hope and pray you all had a GREAT Christmas.

I really feel for you Space Cowboy. My brother and I are also alone on Christmas. This has been every year now since my Mother past away in '99. That Thanksgiving the uncle that I have left in Town invited us for Thanksgiving supper, but on Christmas we didn't even get a phone call. And aren't even long distance charges from us to them.

I am going to going to be real blut here. You know why we weren't invited for Christmas. One reason is that they would have had to buy some kind of a gift. We don't want anything from them, anyway. My brother and I just deserve coals in our stockings anyway.

But you just have to get used to it. Make yourself some new friends so next Christmas you will have somewere to go.

We had supper yesterday up the road at a friends place. They made supper and invited us over. The husband is Ukrainian, so they have their Christmas in two weeks.

Space Cowboy make yourself new friends, and "forget that X".

And Merry Christmas everyone at Tech Guys. And especially you Space Cowboy.

I'm so fortunate for my family. I wish I could share them with Space Cowboy and Bush Lady.
They got me socks and gloves because I always have cold feet and hands. They're the best..

It's all subjective mate...I know my father would say that I am egotistical for the same reason...But then again, he has refered to me as "My 401k plan"...Which is a joke, but telling as well...Sometimes what our parents expect of us is also what would most benefit them...And while there is good in doing that...It is a little selfish itself. An individual is no one's 401k plan but their own.

I hope everyone had a good christian-based non-denominated holiday observance!

Hehe...It's the simple things that count! I got a couple pairs of pants, and for that I am very grateful...I don't shop for clothes, which kinda sucks 'cuz no one likes a guy walking around with no pants on...

Of course now that ive seen it 14 times, i might not watch it for awhile... but its good to have for those depressing days

Scott, eventually, he will grow up. I was a daddys girl myself. But eventually, hes gonna come around and realize that he needs his father Just like even though you might not think so now... you need him

-peeks in- Am I allowed to come in even if I didn’t get anything for Christmas?
I didn’t wish for anything though so I guess I got what I wanted lol

Anyway, I just wanted to say Happy Holidays to everyone. Here it’s a real winter wonderland.

Well it looks like most of you had a nice Christmas,

Sorry Dave & Scott still have some sadness there & hope it's better next year.

We don't give expensive gifts & had my sister & friend here & had a lovely day, I was given some money to get myself something so got a couple of lovely plants, a Bromeliad & a Tilandsia, they are very colourful & will bring much pleasure,
