Hearing Andrew sing for the first time had the same impact as hearing Andrea Bocelli had on me the first time. What a talent, and what an emotional appeal he has. | | Distinguished Member with 6,102 posts. | | Join Date: Jan 2002 Location: Hot, California Experience: Advanced |

As for Tuesday... I hate to see Syesha go... I think she left it too late. David A sounded really bad to me... like mumbling... and of course he will get the teenie vote. But man it was awkward when he sung With You. Also did anyone else heard the slip up he did?
David C was awesome as usual.
Randy Jackson was on a local radio station here with Elliot Yamin and he was saying for David C to win, even though David A has the teenie votes.
Here is my question to you guys... would you buy an album where the singer sounds like he's out of breath the first line?

That really is the test for me...if it makes me get goosebumps then i'm totally sold! Not too many songs/voices can do that to me. Quote:

It sounded like he started to stumble over a word and then a line...like he was unsure of what he was singing. He got better towards the end but imo, he cannot sing the faster songs anywhere near as good as he does the ballads. Quote: |

| I didnt like his second or third song...the second had no tune and was just a bunch of yelling and the third fell flat compared to Aerosmiths version...hard to live up to that song, imo! Quote: |

| lol..i'm no teeny and I vote for David A! And dont you dare call me an old lady vote or i'll pop ya!
But yeah, I think David C is more versatile and ready to jump into the business than David A. Either way...David A is going to do well when AI is over with so I wont complain if he doesnt win..but I hope he wins!

#208 | Sorry to see Syesha go. I think it would have been a better finale with her against one of the David's. I think she has more flexibility, and natural talent than the two David's, but then, I'm always partial to the ladies
I think she will go on with a successful career. I also see both David's doing well. I think of David A. as a young Wayne Newton. He'll be crooning to his young fans at some Vegas palace 40 years from now, that's my prediction. I'll be 104 at that point, but expect to be alive to see my prediction fulfilled. | | Distinguished Member with 19,130 posts. | | Join Date: Nov 2002 Location: Upstate NY Experience: enough to know better |
