#51 | Yes, I think he's got the magic and can go all the way. The other people on my list, of those I've seen are Amanda Overmeyer, the rocker with the gold highlights, Josiah (the car kid) if he can harness his emotions, Michael Johns nailed his song, Carly Smithson, and Asi 'H Epperson. I'm sure there are more we just haven't seen yet. This is one very talent rich year.
Some of these kids are so talented, they get up there, and they literally own the stage! Bravo. | | Distinguished Member with 19,130 posts. | | Join Date: Nov 2002 Location: Upstate NY Experience: enough to know better |

I loved rocker girls audition but didnt care for her doors song. Like Simon said...I get the feeling that every song she sings is going to have that same gravelly voice. Makes me wonder how she will tone it down to sing a ballad. It will be interesting to see if she can pull it off.
The first girl...who sounded a bit like Carly Simon...I really liked her too!
Arghh...too many to choose from at this point! Cant wait for tonight!

#55 | Regarding Josiah, I think he was a bit too emotional to have made it far.........and my husband thought he was a total fake and was just trying to generate sympathy or maybe even donations! | | Distinguished Member with 13,347 posts. | | Join Date: Mar 2001 Location: Thermopolis, WY Experience: Been there, done that, st |

#56 | Being 18, and living in a car garners my sympathy. I didn't experience him as manipulative, just a very vulnerable young man, what you get when you have a young person with a lot of emotions, no safety net, and no drugs. But that's just one persons opinion, I could be wrong. I was sorry to see that he did not make it, as I thought this could have become a transformative experience for him.
I also found myself agreeing with Simon about the young man from Oklahoma who didn't make it. I was very glad to see Carly Smithson make it through, as well as Asia'H Epperson. I was pulling for them. I was also glad to see Michael Johns make it through.

#58 | I found this thread as the last entry on page 3. Did people stop watching? Not me, I'm enjoying the show. It was interesting to see Josiah on Ellen on Tuesday. He was given musical instruments, and a computer. I hope he can land on his feet.

Who do you see going tonight? Who do you like? | I'm still watching eggplant I liked the guy with the dreadlocks the best, (Jason Castro) My second favorite guy is Michael Johns.(the australian).
And for the girls, my favorite was Alaina Whittaker My second favorite girl singer was the rocker/nurse Amanda Overmyer
As for who I want to see go home tonight..........I just hope that annoying Noriaga kid gets kicked off
