#46 | I read a book once years ago that stated the hot dog was America's deadliest weapon. One measley little hot dog has 11-13 grams of fat in it. I stopped serving hot dogs to my children when I found that out. | | Senior Member with 141 posts. | | Join Date: May 2005 Location: Alcupolco Mexico Experience: Einstein |

#47 | The quality of food can very greatly based on who prepares it. My Number One Chef and Personal Shopper does an excellent job with tuna. Meowmmie, not so much. Even though it's the same brand! | | Community Moderator with 50,012 posts. | | Join Date: Jan 2003 Location: Central USA Experience: Need no stinking badges |

I can't help but agree with LAN. Add on some bacon, some cheese, and top it with drippings.
Then go back to the spinach for the next month. | | Distinguished Member with 3,146 posts. | | Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: the Nickel City, Ontario,Canada Experience: down to earth person |

I cook it and when it is tender, grind in through a small meat grinder. Put bacon fat in a put. Make a thick rue with flour. And the ground up spinach. Eat it with potatoes and fried eggs for supper, instead of meat for supper. Something different.
If I only had enough spinach.
But if I were eating it for a month, even I would get sick of it.

The 20 worst foods What makes spinach fit into "the worst for you" category is when people dump the bacon dressing on top........thats bad for ya | | Distinguished Member with 4,762 posts. | | Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Delaware Experience: beginner always learning |

#59 | That's true...but it tastes soooooo good.
Same goes for a lot of salads...they are good for you but people pile on the dressings. I always have my dressing on the side and just put a little on each bite .... I still get the taste I like but not loaded with dressing.
