The next question is this:

Is Candy's somewhat bungled attempt to get The Saint her toy sufficient to fulfill it's purpose of getting her on the "Nice List" prior to 11:59 pm tomorrow?

It has got to be food. I don't feel like doing anything else without food in my tummy first!

Good news and bad news.

Good news is that the carrier of the toy arrived today.

Bad news is that Chava looked at it then looked at me like I was a total idiot She is NOT amused by it, wants NOTHING to do with it....what's next?

You should have let Number 1 Chef and Personal Shopper make the presentation. Leave it out and see if it moves.

He did

And it's still sitting in the same place as of now.

Perhaps I'll allow him to move it and place it somewhere else later today. She's napping now.

So the look wasn't related to the toy, it was just general commentary.

I think she has the impression that the "toy" was "MY" idea, thus the look. I've given her other toys in the past that she hasn't played with either. A cat nip mouse, or a corkscrew...the corkscrew wins every time.

She was sitting in a chair beside it this morning. Hasn't moved it yet, nor touched it from what I can tell.

That took awhile were you on vacation?

It is still in same place. She's not amused by it. However, interestingly enough, I found an older toy with feathers on it that we bought at Walmart, and threw it on the floor in front of her, and she chased, skidded across the floor and tossed it into the air multiple times.......go figure.

In any event, she doesn't like the new toy...at all.
