Dad allegedly shoots at son's computer

Associated Press

DUNEDIN, Fla. - A father fed up with his son for spending too much time on the computer, allegedly fired shots at the monitor, authorities said.

Joseph Langenderfer, 44, was arrested Monday afternoon at his home, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.

Langenderfer allegedly told deputies he was angry that his son had neglected the laundry and was spending all his time playing computer games.

Langenderfer was taken to the Pinellas County Jail and charged with one count of attempted murder. (Of the monitor or the son! )
