There's a guy who came to preach at our church, Bart Campolo, and his sister is named Lisa. Pretty funny.

#59 | So I went to view the website jump the shark, and it's gone! It appears to have been bought out by TV Guide for a lot of money. But I can't seem to find any of the fun stuff that used to be there.
For those not familar (Wiki has a pretty good writeup), Jump the shark is a phrase that came from Happy Days, when the Fonz jumped the shark (with his leather jacket on ). Essentially, a show has jumped the shark when it's running out of material, or starting to go downhill.
Anyway, you would go to the site, and they had thousands of TV shows. They would show the votes of when you thought they jumped the shark (or, whether you thought they never jumped the shark). If I remember correctly, Friends and Jerry Seinfield were pretty highly marked as never jumping the shark.
Anyway, any of your favorite shows Jump The Shark?

#60 | Yes, I thought that CSI: Miami "jumped the shark" several years ago, haven't watched it since about 2005/2006-ish.
Hmmmmm....also, WWF started to really go off the deep end in about 2002, and again, I quit watching.
The Simpsons and Family Guy "jumped the shark" on the second half of their very first episode....but then, it could be because I can't stand either of those shows, they aren't even funny for goodness sake!
Sesame Street (I have a 2-year-old, remember?) "jumped the shark" when it put that horrible "Elmo's World" segment at the end of its episodes....nothing like undoing all of the good you did by watching the rest of the show with the idiocy that runs rampant in "Elmo's World".
I'm sure I'll think of more later......
Red/Green--I don't think that show will ever "jump the shark". Although, it would be funnier if it didn't have those sections where it's like the silent films while they do stupid stuff with "Red" narrating through it. I never really could get into those segments. The rest of the show though is hilarious!! "If women don't find you handsome, they can at least find you handy."
