He starts off with the Things he would like to have; then the Prestige. Interesting take on Prestige... people asking you for answers, and since you are rich, you are right.

Then, in the end... he would study to achieve more knowledge. Most excellent.

A friend said Fiddler on the Roof was in town (I thanked him for letting me know after the fact) and said Topol was in it. Guess which friend is getting the fruitcake for Christmas!!

The other night it was on TV. What a goofy show, but, well... it grows on you.

Several years back I won some contest on the radio and got tickets to Tommy at the Bass Music Hall in Fort Worth. Man that was awesome. They had one guy playing all the guitar pieces; that boy was good.

I was lucky to have seen the Who live at the old Montreal Forum back in '75 and '79. The first time they played Tommy cover to cover. One of the best concerts I have ever seen, and I've seen many!

You're right, watching Lee Marvin sing was amazing/odd too. Like watching Dean Martin ride a horse.

A musical I really liked was Bare. It's not well known, but there was a local production in Sacramento and I loved it. Came home and immediately downloaded it.

My brother and sister did that as a High School musical, but I don't remember it really, they also did South Pacific - one of my favorites. I guess really anything by Rodgers and Hammerstein's would be on my list.

South Pacific
Sound of Music (Christopher Plummer.....yum)
King and I (Yuul Brynner was so hot)
Carousel (Gordon McCrae and Shirley Jones - what beautiful voices)
Oklahoma (ditto)
and Cinderella (I only know the Lesly Anne Warren version)

West Side Story
Music Man

I also love the music from Les Miserables

Lol, I can, but you might want to look into it first. I don't think it's everyone's kind of musical.
