I cant imagine anything more technical than this dilema, you have to take into consideration the tog value + the fibers per square inch+ the towels Half Life + the volume of water the towel can handle. Deep Deep Stuff here.

Its ok if you dont know anything about the technical side of towels, your efforts are appreciated.

Thank you to the people who got the joke, and offered advise,

We can be as light-hearted as the next group of people, when we know it's a joke. This was not presented as a joke. We didn't know if you were serious or not.

Please... use emoticons and such and let us know you're joking, and we can play along; instead of thinking you really need some help on it.

I am known as "The Smiley Queen" on the forums I moderate! ... and couldn't said it better myself

I love emoticons and use them freely ... They express what we are saying when the other person has no way of seeing our faces and body language, and I encourage everyone to use them.

Of course there are some places where they wouldn't be appropriate, but I think using them in the random forums enhances the conversations greatly!!!...

I only wish we had more here! ... or have a direct link to our hard drives...
I have thousands in my computer, but because of my slowwwww dial-up, I cannot use them here... and linking to another site is painfully slow...

Neb, I am glad you were joking, but if you ever need help, don't hesitate to ask....

Just don't expect me to do your laundry!!!...

You left out a very important consideration .... fabric softener.
Most people wrongly assume a soft towel = an absorbent towel and always use copius amounts of softener when doing their towels in the wash. WRONG - WRONG - WRONG The softener coats the fibers and while it feels great it sets up a barrier between the water you are trying to remove and the towel so you end up frustratedly just moving the water around your body.

REMEMBER, HARD towels = good towels, soft towels = bad towels

Nope My opinions make so much more sense when I keep them uninformed
Guess I'll have to keep my eye on Grannies posts to keep myself from looking any more foolish than I actually am
(and that's not easy to do)
