I've probably offended most of the Moon conspiracy theorists here, might as well go for the gold ...............I never liked Star Trek Next Generation ( )
Sure, it made a lot of money, had good ratings....but what a boat load of dorks ( )
In 7 seasons....the concept of science fiction was irreparably damaged with the trash talking pseudo techno lingo they used to fill up the the vast empty spaces devoid of plot ( yeah, yeah......Jack can go burn in hell....I hear ya )
Picard was a wuss.......
Let's hear it from the trekkies .... ....

#48 | You know the part of the conspiracy that really gets me? That whole Apollo 13 sideshow. You know, the time we pretended we were going to go to the moon and then pretended there was an accident and we couldn't go. Even pretended the astronauts might die for good measure.
Brilliant I say. Totally freakin brilliant.

Brilliant I say. Totally freakin brilliant. | That was to show Russia we had a problem, and because of our technologically superior brilliance, we we able to save the astronauts from certain doom on a movie set somewhere around Los Angeles.
I bet Apollo 13 didn't have the computing capability of a Commodore-64 or VIC-20.

Let's hear it from the trekkies .... .... | The most intelligence he gained was as a half machine by..........what where those cubic space ship buggers called? Orks? Hobbits?
I liked the Ferengi though. Money grabbing, greedy sods, they were a real analogy to Wall St. bankers. 'cept that the latter probably have their erogenous zones in their portfolios and not the earlobes. If they have any at all (zones, not earlobes).
Interestingly "Ferengi" (foreigner) is an Indian and Pashtun term applied to us. These Afghans! Haven't got the wherewithal to accept our democracy concepts but watched our stupid star trek series for years. No wonder they're not buying.

No wonder they're not buying. | All of your thinking where you don't think like me has warped your near-capacity minds. - Warp-shoot first; ask questions later.
- Data-Android; popular with the gals.
- Picard-could beat you to a pulp; with his fists or his speeches.
- Troi-please.... totally hot in those suits.
- Riker-a true yes man. Everyone wants one.

In a true "how can we ruin a show" fashion, what were they thinking bringing the Wesley Crusher thing on? A stupid kid who knows everything; every parents dream.

I did like the TV show. The movies were terrible.
