Juno behaving worse than usual
What is happening with Juno? Although it's been dialing up the same four New York City numbers I've used for several years, it's suddenly started dialing Guam, Indiana, and Syracuse, NY. When I try to connect with the Web, it will get a NY number after several tries. If I try to get just e-mail it only dials Guam, etc. (I have Windows 2000). I called their $1.95 a minute number for human (?) support and was told that there was "some problem" that would be fixed in three hours. That was three weeks ago.

Nobody seems to know anything at all about Juno, and they have a fake address in New York. Can anyone help?

Hi wiseword,

Welcome to TSG!

It sounds like some of Juno's services have been hijacked. Either that or your computer has been infected with malware which targets specifically your dialup.

I'd recommend you click on the Report link at the bottom of your post and ask the Mods to move it over to the Malware Removal and Hijack This Logs Forum for more expert help than I can give you.
