New product idea to help parent's save money
Hello, I am a student at Boston University. My team and I are working on a project where we have to come up with a new product idea to sell to consumers. Our product idea is an extendable hockey stick for youth players aged 6 to 12. If anyone knows the game at all, youth players purchase sticks and cut it down to size according to the child's height. Children eventually out grow their sticks and parents are forced to purchase a new stick every time he or she grows a few inches. Our product idea can save parents money and insures the child will have the right feel for the stick at all times.

This is not spam or a PSA. Our team just needs help figuring out if this product is marketable or profitable.

Please take our quick survey:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp...ocgQ_3d_3d
The demographic question at the end of the survey is completely optional. If you do not feel comfortable answering your age or your annual income, you do not need to.

Thanks!

Hi kevinInyc,

Did you do any market research? Like visiting sporting store outlets and asking sellers what is out there, most popular with your target group, etc. in terms of a survey.

The other side of the research coin is to interview players in the target market and their parents - what is missing, what is the cost, what do they think of your idea?

Hello,

Yea we did market research and conducted a bunch of focus groups with our target market of hockey parents. This is the survey section of our project.

Thanks!
