Customer Abandoned Computer
Hello I own and run a computer repair company in CT. I recently started the company and I am quickly learning about some of the non sense that can go on. I recently had a customer who required a ram upgrade and optimization of her PC. After completing the work I contacted the customer and she asked me to call her back in a few days when she got paid. A few days later I called and was forwarded to her voice mail, that was two weeks ago. I call her every other day about picking up her computer but always get the voice mail. My question is how long should I give her until her pc is labeled as abandoned? I figured I would send her a letter by mail and give her 30 days. What do you guys think?

After 30 days, IMO, it's a lost cause unless it, she, is a client whom you've been doing business with for a while...Sometimes it's best to have services paid up front to save any differences..If it's worth it, they will pay it..

I will definitely have customers pay up front in the future unless they are returning customers, thanks for the advice.
