OK here is your coffee franca.

Got the "Quick Reply" back now also.
Guess all the long thread put a lot of load on the servers and was giving the 503 errors and slowing things dow,
Also made more work on the "Quick Reply" that he disabled on the longer threads.

Then I guess all the emails that go out on a subscription really adds a lot of load to the servers.
When 2000, 3000, 4000 or more post in a thread you have a lot of subscriptions too.

threads USED to be closed at 2000 posts by a program called techbot or something like that. Then after that went down it was changed to 5000 posts. I don't do email subs i just check my subscribed threads in my profile.
