Wireless keyboard mouse combos
I'm looking to integrate one of my family's PC's with the living room.

I figured, put it close to the entertainment system and run a monitor extention cable to a corner desk for working when someone is watching TV. I have a Video card with TV out, A TV tuner that works great and records great, and really all I need is a good wireless keyboard and mouse. Only one MAJOR requirement that I need help solving.

The range has to be greater than 15 feet so I can sit on my sofa!

Any suggestions?

I am using the Logitech Cordless MouseMan Optical. I get around 25 feet with it.

Not sure about keyboards though.

FYI: i found a site that sells a kbd/mouse combo with 100ft low interference range.

www.gyrationdirect.com

I am also emailed logitech if there is a way to boost the wireless signal even if it voids the warranty (doubt they will tell me, but its worth a shot)

[b] I dont want to burst your bubble but I used to have both cordless keyboard and mouse but got rid of them cos they did my head in, I had to keep replacing batteries very expensive unless you use, rechargables, cos they run out very fast if you are a frequent user of your computer. And to add to that if something goes wrong with your computer you have to reinstall a keyboard and mouse that works with your system cos you cant boot up in ms dos with cordless if anything goes wrong.

My batteries on the mouse last a few months, minimum so that hasn't been a problem.
But yes, do keep a regular keyboard/mouse to use in DOS/Safe Mode when necessary.
