Question DVD-R Media?
I just bought a DVD+R writer. Before I spend any money on the media what brands should I trust and maybe pay the extra money for vs. what brands I should stay away from no matter how inexpensive, or does it even make a difference? Is a DVD-R a DVD-R? Thanks for your help.

I've been burning dvds for a year now and have yet to purchase a blank dvd that hasn't worked. I just bought some from comp USA for a dolar a piece. They were comp USA brand and work perfectly. I aslo bought a no name spool of thirty online that were completely unmarked and those worked great as well. Since many burners are only 1x anyway you don't have to worry about speeds like cd-rs.
