Thumbs up Cendyne 52x24x52 CDRW
There's probably been CDRW's reviewed before, but this deal on now( 5-18-03) at Staples.
The Cendyne 52x24x52 CDRW is on sale at $18 after rebate. It comes with Nero V5.5.10.4 software.
I installed it in a P 200mmx that is for office work only, so the CDRW is only for data backup.
The unit is rated for a min. spec P3 450, but it has burned 100mb's in my machine at 48x with no errors. I have had no coasters! I think this is a fantastic sale!

One note: the rating is 52x but the software only allowed a max 48x burn.

please excuse the error---- I bought a lot at office Max today and forgot the CDRW came from Staples!

The software probably limited the speed due to the media. 52X media hasn't quite hit mainstream yet and most of the CDR's on the shelf are still 24X or 48X rated. The cheap after rebate stuff is almost all 48X.
