Thumbs down InternetIshop.com -Horrible Customer Service
The InternetIshop.com a online business dealing in PC hardware advertised a new shipment of GeForce-FX5200Ultra video cards. One hundred only available, regularly $219, on sale for $125.

Having done my research, I felt this was a very good deal so I placed a order with the company for one of the above video cards, product # VG-NV-8XFX5200. The description on my receipt lists this item# and the following description 4x/8XAGP-GeForce FX5200 Ultra 128 MB. I recieved the card and installed it in my PC thinking it was an Ultra not the regular FX5200, which is much cheaper.

A few weeks later I see an similiar ad on InternetIshop's website listing the FX5200 not the Ultra for $79. What do you know, exactly the same product ID # as the one they sent me as an Ultra. I contacted the company, they forwarded my complaint to their Tech. Dept and I get back an email stating, they made a huge mistake. It is my belief that all 100 customers probably got the cheaper version but paid for the more expensive Ultra.

All I ask for was the difference in price between $125 and $79 that the card I got was actually selling for. A difference of $46. They sent me back an email offering $35 as a refund. I called the company direct and ask to speak to a supervisor, his name was "David", Who's first response on hearing my complaint was "so" as if who cares. He was absolutely combative and uncaring at all concerning my complaint.

The company did send me an email offering a refund on the card if I removed it from my PC, packaged it up ,mailed it back ( I guess at my expense since no mention was made of it in the email) and I was subject to a 15% restocking charge.

This is a company that says they have 15 years of excellent customer service. It sounds to me like a company that may have deceptive and illegal practises.

PS. I sent an email to the company's administration link on their website about my complaint, they never replied back.
