Unhappy These mice are killing me!
Hey everyone,

I have three mice (1 corded and 2 wireless) sitting in my drawer because they all stink. The corded one always needs cleaning and the two wireless ones are really choppy.

Can anyone recommend a Wireless Optical mouse for me, I'm tired of guessing or going by how pretty the box looks like.

ALSO, I'm looking for a mouse with a USB antenna instead of the RF recievers that are attached to the USB with a cord. Looking for something like the ones that look like a USB flash drive. I don't think either Microsoft or Logitech have any because none of their pictures show it... I'm sure it is intentional.

Any advice would be appreciated... thanks!

I've also had problems with the wireless mouse and have stopped using them.

He hee I still using the same cordless logitech that came with my old IBM PC in 1997 and it works great.

Talked to a man at compusa that was mad because he got MS mice twice for his company and they were no good and did not last so got logitech again. Had to buy 50 at a time and the logitech he said would last a couple years and the MS mice would need replacing 6 months to a year.

An interesting 'twist' on our conventional mice (mouses?)....

http://www.evoluent.biz/

Just turn your hand, right now, right from your mouse ... into a 'handshake' orientation ... and imagine a mouse .....

Check the review links...I'm tempted!

Have you tried one, redalert? Looks the size of a rat or guinnea pig, rather than a mouse.

Also looks like it would take quite a bit of getting used to. The reviewers say the learning curve is only a few minutes, and is quite comfortable.

Wonder how it'd hold up in a Quake Deathmatch, etc. ?

It is an optical device, but it's also wired for USB or PS2 connects, so doesn't really fall into crazylazy's specs - just thought I'd throw it in as an "alternate - alternative."

I've got a Kensington Wireless USB mouse that came with my Dell laptop that sounds like just what you're looking for. It has a little antennae rather then a corded receiver, and as as an added perk, since it's made for mobile users, the little antennae goes inside the mouse when inactive, via little door on the side. I'll see if I can dig up a link as to the name of it. Here we go. Nifty little bugger, I'm quite pleased with it.
