Soltek QBIC Box
Soltek New QBIC EQ3702M Box Barebone System

Buyers beware. This new box from Soltek has hidden weaknesses that is just a little more than cosmetics..

It comes with a drop down front panel for the floppy drive. To keep the front view of the box nice and clean the floppy drive is hidden behind a panel that is flush with the front of the case. To access the floppy drive you push on a front panel, which drops down. The problem is that the lugs supporting the front panel are VERY WEAK and can easily break under normal usage, rendering the front cosmetics of the whole QBIC box experience an eyesore.

The drop down panel for the floppy drive without the lug becomes unusable and leaves you with a floppy drive exposed without the nice flush front cosmetic look.

The extra £50 you pay for this experience becomes a deficit as a result.
