Advanced software website
Has anyone dealt with this company:

http://www.asoftwaresolutions.com/

They are offering "Ahead Nero Burning Suite 6" for only $9 and I would like to know if they are reliable before ordering.
Thank you!

While I can't speak for the company because I have never purchased anything from them before, I do have a couple of thoughts for you.

1. Weigh your risk vs. reward quotient. In other words, is it worth it to you to get the program for $9 in a legal way, and can you live with it if you get stiffed? If you can part with your $$ in the event that they are not reputable, then you have rolled the dice in their favor.

2. I couldn't see on their website a customer satisfaction policy although I admit I didn't drill down ever menu or link. I did see a phone number you could call and perhaps be able to ask them if they have a money back guarantee or any other return policy in case you are not satisfied.

Be aware that you may not get everything that would come with a normal retail distribution of the software. For example, I purchased Norton Systemworks 2003 from a company like this for $6.99 and all it came with was the unregistered CDROM. There were no manuals, or other docs for the product. It was no big deal to me since I already knew how the product worked. Just be prepared that for such a drastic reduction in price, you're probably not going to get a shrink wrapped retail package. Don't forget the old motto: "You get what you pay for". Hope it works out for you.

Seems a little weird for them to be offering software for so cheap. You could try running a search for them at the Better Buisness site, but I wouldn't chance it. That seems a little too weird and not worth the 30 bucks or so your saving.

Those prices are tempting, but did you notice that the companies name is A.S.S? for (A)dvanced (S)oftware (S)olutions, are they trying to tell you something?
