Thumbs up Trillian...If your looking for IM software, I recomend this!!
Trillian lets you IM your friends using yahoo, msn, aim, & icq. Recommended.

I second this recommendation...I currently use it, once you get used to it, it's a lot better, and it has tons of options, skins, and plugins that you can install...definitely worth downloading the free version, and if you like it, buy the Pro version.

I used Trillian for a while, but I switched to Gaim

Nice piece of software...completely free
Supports AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo, IRC, Jabber, Gadu-Gadu, Zephyr and runs on just about any OS.

GAIM's main program doesnt minimize to taskbar that annoyed me.

Um, if you hit the minimize button it goes straight to the taskbar, and there is a plugin that will make it minimize to the system tray if you prefer.

Yes the tray is what i need.. task bar... its in the way

with the newest windows version it goes to the tray when Xed out.
