Unhappy blank DVD discs
[font=Arial Black]when burning a dvd movie to a blank disc, i keep running into blank discs that are no good.........like it will say "burn succussful" within about 30 seconds (so, you know it really wasn't successful), or it will burn successfully, but when I play it back, it has spots that are segmented and no good, and won't continue to play. this has happened with expensive blank discs and cheap ones........is there anyway to check the disc, before you try to use it, to make sure it's good?

Try www.cdfreaks.com. Go to software and diagnostics. They have some utilities there.

I have NTI CD-Maker 2000 Plus and it will test a CD before and after a burn.
I have never had a bad burn either. Even one time I was burn at my sister's she was Nero and it was not working and saying that new CD was bad so we put in another and then another and it was saying they were bad too. I took the same so called bad CD's and burned them with NTI CD-Maker 2000 Plus.
