Question MS toolbar
Whats the skinny on the new toolbar that lets a person search his own files to find things he forgot. Am I right in understanding it makes copy of everything you do on the PC. Sounds like a great tool for crackers.

There is the Google Desktop project which indexs all the files on your computer which you can then search - it has a toolbar type GUI which can lock onto the start bar or act like a widget.

Not sure about an "MS" tool bar though. And as for the crackers comment - I'd be careful as that may infringe on the rules of legality.

Yeah, the Google Desktop search tool will take a while to index everything - You may want to have a look at the plugins which will do a few extra things. As I said I don't use it because I have no need, but a few of my friends love it.

- Don't forget to install Firefox too -
