Solved: need advice for new comp
I was wondering which of the following two computers you guys would recommend. I will be using the computer for video editing, gaming, tv and internet stuff. Are the two processors basically equal or are there main differences for my computer uses?(amd and intel) Concerning game play...are the standard hardware on these 2 pcs sufficient or would an upgrade be my best bet and to what? What does L2 cache stand for.

All help is appreciated.

I'd take the one with the 4200 X2 processor from those two machines. Cooler running and a better deal, more future proof/cheaper.

I personally hate HP computers but at least it is upgradable to a point, it has a PCIE x16 slot and 4 memory slots and comes with a gig of memory installed.

Yep, I'd get the athlon machine.

That is me though. Both machines seem pretty equal. I just like AMD.

Both fine machines, but if choosing, I would go for the Athlon machine {Pavilion m7248n Photosmart Minitower}. >f
