Considering every Samsung purchase I have ever made was a complete disapointment in terms of quality, I would suggest that you stay away from anything with a Samsung name on it.

If you are on a budget, LG makes a superior product that they stand by with a 2 year manufacturer warranty. If anything goes wrong with it within 2 years, they will send someone out to your house to repair it.

After you read the specs, monitors are a matter of personal choice. Why not go down to your local Compusa or Bestbuy, see what you like then order via the Internet?
