I do not have anything to say about their line of software - I merely point out that accepting this assessment will result in what I deem to be rubbish designed to prompt a purchase.

I say it's only a prompt a purchase. Not it says "Average Status" and then what looks like it is loading for the Status makes you think they did a scan but it is just part of the image.
I also got the very same thing you got because that is just the way the web page look with the images used so everyone will have the same thing.

It is not scanning your PC at all.
