MS Internet Explorer Administration Kit 5.5 (IEAK)-

if you are looking for a way to roll out ie5.5 so that everyone in your enterprise has the same exact version and the same exact "proper" settings in ie5.5 this is the tool to use.

you basically set up ie5.5 on a machine, configure it how you want it to include common links favorites etc. then you run ieak and it builds a custom setup based on the settings in the configured machine.

you can have custom title bars and even use your company logo in instead of the rotating globe in ie5.5.

i was able to easily configure a setup.exe that required no user intervention. it was truly a hands free install for the users. the beauty of it is that everyone has the corporate homepage and all the required links installed. during an upgrade it gives you the option of deleting current links or merging the links you select into the current user settings.

enjoy
