Ever applied for an online job? ever got back a reply? well, i have applied to several online jobs and i got no reply, i wouldnt say my resumes where bad, they were all high class.

It was only half a joke. It doesn't take much to set a potential employer to looking at other candidates. You need to put your best foot forward when you apply for a job.

If you apply online then set up a new email address because you will get so much garbage you will not be interested in that will fill up your email.

never found any repsonses worth looking into but I am sure there are some.

Most of the repsonses wanted you to sell stuff and lots of these looked like pyramid schemes

I don't believe on those jobs posted online really, I've heard of people trying forever for nothing cause they never heard back...

Well I've gotten lucky I guess because I've gotten call backs from almost every job I've applied online. I mostly used CareerBuilder. Worked like a charm.

In some organizations, jobs are posted only to meet a requirement -- in many cases, the job has already been filled in-house.

DFW is right, but I think it's also a lot about who you know. Get the word out (friends, family, etc) that you're looking for something and you might be surprised what comes knocking at your door.
