Looks Good. Clear, readable, easy access, cannot fault it.

You can post until you can't!! I am not sure.

Cheers.

I may be a little harsh because I work as a Creative Director
for a web/software development firm but I believe it is way too text heavy.

You have seconds to capture your audience--and if they have to do lots of reading
(work)-- most will not spend much time navigating.

Other than that--everything seems to be in working order
(viewing on Firefox)

Hi Daniwrites,

Thanks for the comments. The pages are copy heavy to help with natural search, as they say content is king.

However, from your point of view is it the Maxxsave homepage which is too heavy, or do you think all the pages are too heavy, e.g. the Digital TV Money Saving Guide page?

thanks for your time,

j.

Hi J ,

I think it is the homepage. Once someone decides to click a section to
find out more information-- then they will mostly likely stay and read.

https://www.chipin.com/

That page has lots of text but because of the way it is designed and broken up--it
is much easier on the eyes.

Hope that helped a bit!

Your website has no title.

Maxxsave does have a title tag. Which site are you talking about?

Chipin.com also has a title, although it is short "Chipin".

I have to disagree. The Maxxsave website is much easier on my eyes then the ChipIn website. It is cleaner with more contrast and supports a variety of resolutions. The chipin website has a tough color scheme and only looks good at 800X600.

Additionally I am impressed that Maxxsave passed both the W3C Html validator and CSS validator. Chipin passed neither.

Finally the homepage for Chipin was 257,553 bytes where the homepage for Maxxsave was only 61,893 bytes. This means Maxxsave will load 4 times faster then Chipin. Which means on a basic high speed connection Maxxsave makes it in the 8 second cut off most internet users are willing to wait, Chipin will not.

In my humble opinion Maxxsave is a very good website. I am not trying to put down Chipin, but the comparison was made. In case this makes a difference, even though it shouldn’t, I am a professional website developer.
