Solved: Dell Inspiron e1505
Looking for suggestions. I've looked at these configurations so much I'm confusing myself. Any recommendations would be great, i'm just ready to get it configured and order it

I'm in grad school, primarily using computer for school stuff, internet, presentations, word processing, etc. but I also have alot of digital pictures and music and would like to be able to have storage and ability to edit and create slideshows etc.

Here are some of my questions:

1- Processor: is it worth it to upgrade to the Intel® Core™ Duo Proc T2400 (1.83GHz/667MHz/2 X 1MB L2 Cache) [add $150 or $4/month1]
or should I keep the:
Intel® Core™ Duo Proc T2050 (1.60GHz/533MHz/2 X 1MB L2 Cache) [Included in Price]

2-Memory: I have decided on the 1GB Shared Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz, 2 Dimm [add $65 or $2/month1]

3-Hard Drive: Whats better? less GB more rpm: 80GB 7200rpm SATA Hard Drive [add $125 or $4/month1] or

less rpm more GB:120GB 5400rpm SATA Hard Drive [add $75 or $2/month1]
Dell Recommended

4- I'm going to upgrade the graphic card to the 128MB ATI MOBILITY™ RADEON® X1300 HyperMemory™ [add $49 or $1/month1]
as well as the upgraded sound card.

5- should I chose the 6 cell battery or 9 cell battery?

6- Is bluetooth worth it with the wireless card?

Ok, I think thats the last of my questions. I've talked to a few dell reps and get differnt opinions. I have sought help on this site before and find there are some very knowledgable people so I thought your opinions and recommendations may be best

I will be running Win XP pro with SP 2 as well as Office 2003. The system is also Win Vista capable. I plan to have it for 3 years at least, so I want to get the best for now and for later. (though its hard to keep up with the fast changing technology).

Any input/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much!
Jme
