Cool Notebook Cooling Anyone???
So i order my E1505, fully tricked out, all ready to go and last me for the next 3 years of college. There's one thing that i have to fix about this thing though, HEAT. O man after 1-1.5 hrs of having it on its enough to make it feel REALLY uncomfortable when its on your lap. (which is usually in between classes for me, my laptop sits on the desk most of the time otherwise) I'm not ready for my laptop to replace my apartments heating system justtttttt yet. So im wondering if anyone has a notebook cooling pad, and how well it works (or doesn't) I saw the Targus Chillmat on sale the other day, but maybe there's a better one you guys know about? (Thx for any input ahead of time guys!!!)

Yeah some laptops will run hot, I've never had to use mine on my actual lap, so I bought a cooling unit to place underneath it. I have a Toshiba and about 2.5 years in the fan gave out and I had to send it in for replacement. That might of been partially my fault because I hadnt used a cooling fan underneath it up until that point. You should do some research to see if you can find a cooling unit that can go on your lap, but in the meantime you want to make sure the vents on your laptops are cleared from obstruction and that theres nothing covering or blocking them.

thx for your input NYCGURL! I always keep the area around my laptop free, i noticed a lot of cables behind it though, some covering the rear vents, i've since cleaned them up to =) I got a Spire Pacific Breeze cooler.

Its definately working! i love this thing, if anyone wants a review, i can post one up with some pics, its definately worth checking out if your in the market for laptop cooling devices as i was 8-)
