Microsoft programming code
My friend all the time talks about how bad Microsoft is that they use bad programming code and malware and such can come in this bad programming code called exploits.

And going on to say how you have to make sure your computer is up to date on all the fixes and patches. And malware and hackers can come in this bad programming code called exploits. And every week you are on Microsoft web site getting up dates and patches to fix this problem bad programming code .Many say firefox and linux is way more secure because they use a different programming code that is more secure and better.Well keep in mind most of the problem is the users are not up to date on all the patches and such and get malware .

Well I just find all one big money thing .Many say memory leaks and memory problems are because of security layer problem that Windows 95 has only one security layer and Windows XP has more than one security layer

And bad programs or drivers will try to get in the other security layer and having more than one security layer is good thing to stop bad programs or driver problems.

Can you tell us what the point of this post is? I'm struggling to figure out what you're trying to say.

This is certainly not a network issue. I have no idea where it belongs, since it's really not a technical issue.

It's not necessarily bad programming as such. The structure, methods and design of both operating systems are different.

And yes this probably isn't the best part of the forum

Well some people say some virus and malware can delete the Master Boot Record (MBR) and you cannot get into windows. If so how would you fix this problem and put it back?

I thought when you install windows it installs the MBR?But a partition does mot need a MBR only windows?

While that is true, it's also easy (usually) to fix. But the only way that's going to happen is if you download unknown programs from bad sources.

Don't download and install malware.

I think this thread can be marked 'solved'

That's what I thought, but I'm not an expert.
Seems I remember having to f-disk the mbr in my win 98se several times(don't remember why though ), but I never had to reinstall.......I just rebooted.

Well the f-disk is use to set up a partition or delete a partition.

I don't know why the recovery console does not put it back
