The Belarc Advisor builds a detailed profile of your installed software and hardware, missing Microsoft hotfixes, anti-virus status, CIS (Center for Internet Security) benchmarks, and displays the results in your Web browser. All of your PC profile information is kept private on your PC and is not sent to any web server.

A excellent program .
It , or something like it should be on everyones machine.
It is esp helpful if you are trying to fix another's machine --it gives a picture of exactly what you are working with. >f

Hey hewee,
I was going to be sarcastic and type something like:
"WOW - After three years - this program ACTUALLY has a purpose!" BUT DID NOT!!!
I Suppose that this is the age that knowledge and structure is catchin' up with myself...

Yes, three years can be same as three days if new user.
Not all old users are familiar with this app -- so ryans post was most welcome and helpful. >f

Had it been that way for three years. Maybe so because I know it was a long that it had that slow down scanning.

Just like Spybot when 1.4 version cam out there was that long lag after clicking on Immunize that was only fixed a late last year.
