prinitng from wireless laptop to my pc
i bought a wireless laptop. i have a pc. i have a regular old fashion modem. i want to print from laptop to my 3 year old printer. i was told i have to be on high-speed internet acess to do this with a router? what does me being on internet have to do with printing?

if i get replies please keep em simple .

nope.
what i did was to turn printer around and i found this other port. i plugged one end of a usb cable into it and other end into laptop. it wouldn't work. so i shut pc down and laptop down. powered up laptop and up came a message about locating a plug and play device. i don't understand why no drivers are needed for my HP printer for laptop to work. well, it prints now. kind of caveman approach but this is the best i can do until another printer is purchased.
