TheNerds.net and help2fix - any experience?
Hi folks!

Been needing to replace my 5.1 computer speaker system since my Megaworks 510d blew the sub, and TheNerds.net seems to have the best bottom line price right now for the system I'm currently leaning toward. Wondering if anyone has had experience with them, good or bad?

ResellerRatings.com has a rather dismal rating of them, especially of late (and not many reviews), while price engines such as PriceGrabber gives them a much more favorable rating with over 4000 reviews.

The other thing is I wonder about the extended replacement warranty offered through TheNerds "brought to you by 'help2fix' " that you'll see on the Nerds link above. I normally don't buy extended contracts, but in this case I might be tempted, given the fact the some ProGamer 500 owners have experienced some problems. The price and terms seem decent, if they will be honored when/if the time comes.

Any discussion on this front will be welcomed, too.
