Smile What web site to pick? Cratima Interactive or XcellenceIT?
XcellenceIT rebranded to Cratima.
XcellenceIT vs. Cratima.
This is XcellenceIT web site:
www.XcellenceIT.com
and this is Cratima Interactive web site:
www.Cratima.com
I would like to know which of the previous web sites do you
consider to be of best quality? Did we did good with our
change or not?

From my point of view, these are the advantages of the websites:
XcellenceIT : lower graphics and quality; although it does have a
nice look
Cratima Interactive : made in Flash - slow load, poor SEO, good
quality and design

Now we have to decide on which version of the web site
to focus our creativity next - so, what's in your opinion the
best web site?
(if it's XcellenceIT web site, we will work on that version to
adapt it a lot to Cratima Interactive style)

Thank you

Here are my two cents.

When I visit your XcellenceIT website I am hit with the most recent information and links telling me where I can go. If I had a need to contact you or just wanted to learn more I would immediately know how to do it.

When I visit the Cratima website I scroll down and see a clock. I appreciate knowing the time, but it doesn't help me contact you or learn more about your company.

I assumed there was more so I started to move my mouse around, I hover over the clock to see what I thought was a menu flyout. I thought great now I know where I can go, but when trying to click on one of the items it disappeared, I hovered over the clock again and realized it was a paragraph of text, not a menu. So I finally click on the clock, now I know what time it is twice.

Hovering over these clocks I see more menu like flyouts. Having learned my lesson I click on the clock and finally get to some real information.

I also wonder why software doesn't get to be interactive and why web applications isn't software?

I really feel that the new design has usability issues. Visitors should not need to hover their mouse around the screen to find information, it should be presented to them in a clear manner. You may wish to rework your navigation structure to make it more user friendly. Also, if you insist on using a flash menu make sure not to break the back button, there are scripts available that could help with that.

What Fyzbo said. I hate flash unless it is a joke or a game. On a commercial site, I'll go elsewhere for what I need. Sorry if that isn't what you wanted to hear.

Ditto.

The new site may be using all the new gadgets, but it is a long way from being user friendly.

Plus grey text on grey background is not exactly easy to read.

And, the clock ticking is more than just a little annoying!

We are going to make a HTML version of Cratima Interactive web site.

The reason for doing this is all the answers and reviews we got from this forum. I would like to thank you for that!

It will be easier to optimize the HTML version, but we hope to create something entertaining for our visitors too, because, until now they were impressed.
Thanks!
