Thumbs up Newegg at its best
I have read through a lot of the reviews here and thank you all for your comments and opinions.

So I figured I would post one about NEWEGG.

I have been in business for many years now as a computer repair tech. I have a small shop in a rural area. Getting parts was a problem from the beginning . Wholesale companies see that you do not purchase in huge lots, so the price is just a litte below store bought prices. Well enough.

I tried out newegg aprox 6 years ago and I couldnt be happier. Not only are their prices about rock bottom, their customer service is wonderful. I will post a few examples of the great service I was provided out of the hundereds or orders Ive placed with them.

Purchased a 320 gig external gig HDD and it shows up as a 275 gig drive. As these companies do not lable them properly. I called new egg and they gave a $25 credit and also paid the shipping cost. Customer was a happy camper and thats all that matters.

Digital Camera was purchased in a bundle. It was suppose to come with an extra 1 gig memory card. Called Newegg, they said they didnt have any of the 1 gigs in stock, but turned around and mailed out a 2 gig memory card FREE of charge. Another great customer service experence.

425 watt power supply, shows up being the wrong one. Now this was on sale with free shipping and a rebate to make the cost below $30 Newegg told me to just keep that power supply as not to incure shipping charges and they would ship out the correct one over night mail. It showed up the next afternoon.

So as you can see, I have had nothing but great customer service from newegg and I will continue to support them and refer their company to others.

Over the years I've spent some good money at Newegg. IMHO, they are the best. If Newegg had an item for 119.00 and someone else had it for 99.00, I probably go with Newegg. Cheap, fast shipping and if there's a problem, they fix it.

I'll second all that has been said about Newegg. I have put together four pcs from parts purchased from them--saving a bundle and making it worthwhile to build my own. Items delivered on time and issues promptly corrected for the few that occured. I'm not thrilled with mfg rebate delays, but that's not their fault.

I also do a lot of shopping at NewEgg, and I've always had good service. They obviously have a shipping depot near me on the East Coast, because many orders come the next day.
