Neuros OSD
The Neuros OSD is a recent (NY Times, Jan 06, 2008) device for managing video files.
Has anyone here got one yet? Any opinions?
According to the advertising, it will record and digitize from ANY video source-is that going to involve copyright infringement?

I work for Neuros. Think of the OSD as a digital VCR - you record the input from your video source (legal, per the Sony Betamax Supreme Court ruling in the '70s), as opposed to "ripping" a digital source (illegal, per the DMCA from 2000). Any analog input signal is a valid source - your DVD player, your VCR, your camcorder.

Here is a link to the article.
