Smile Need Suggestions for New Laptop
Okay. I've owned a Toshiba Satellite M55-Series laptop for about two years now. Recently, it's been giving me a lot of problems, most of which I know COULD be fixed, but aren't worth it. It'll be cheaper just to get a new computer.
Anyway...
I'm seriously looking for suggestions. I don't really need a lot, since the computer is mainly for school, but I play Guild Wars and make AMVs from time to time, so it needs to be able to handle that. I'm also not in a place to spend a lot of money. Around 500 would be the price range I'm looking at.
I've been looking at Acer, since they're pretty cheap, but seem to be good computers. I'd still like to know if there's any other choices that I should consider.
Thanks in advance!

• Built-in wireless b/g .
• Burns and plays DVDs and CDs.

Locally its $449.99 after rebate of $180.oo

Just a side-comment, but if you're looking to run graphics-intensive apps like Guild Wars on a laptop, you should probably bump your budget a little higher because you won't be able to get by on inexpensive machines with integrated graphics.
